But for too many young adults aging out of foster care in Los Angeles County, the holiday season can feel lonely, uncertain, and frightening. According to the Children’s Law Center of California’s website, there are about 25,000 children in foster care on any given night in LA County. Even more alarming, roughly 50% of youth who age out of foster care become homeless or end up incarcerated. That’s half of these young adults facing immense barriers without the stability and support that every person deserves. At The RightWay Foundation, we believe no foster youth should end up homeless. Our 2025 Holiday Campaign is all about ending this crisis and with your help, we can make it happen.
