The RightWay Foundation helps transition-age foster youth get and keep good jobs and stable housing despite the overwhelming trauma they have endured throughout their lives.
Every year, thousands of foster youth step into adulthood alone without housing, jobs, or support. At RightWay Foundation, we ensure they don’t have to. We walk with them from trauma to triumph through mental health, stable housing, and career readiness.
Based in L.A. County, we’re breaking cycles of trauma and homelessness—one young adult at a time.

3rd Annual Elevation Awards
The RightWay Foundation’s Elevation Awards celebrate the incredible achievements of transition-age foster youth who have overcome adversity and built stable, thriving lives. At this empowering brunch ceremony, five alumni are honored for their resilience and awarded $500 to support their continued success.
Home for the Holidays 2024
The RightWay Foundation’s Home for the Holidays event brought warmth and joy to the season as we celebrated the resilience and achievements of our transition-age foster youth. With heartfelt speeches, community support, and moments of connection, it was a night filled with hope and gratitude. Together, we’re not just building homes, we’re creating futures full of opportunity and love.
2024 Variety Power of Women
The RightWay Foundation’s ambassador, Amy Adams, was honored at the Variety Power of Women event, where she highlighted our mission to empower foster youth with the resources they need to thrive. In her speech, Amy shared her passion for supporting young people transitioning out of foster care, emphasizing the critical role of mental health, housing, employment, and community in breaking the cycle of instability. Her advocacy not only amplifies our work but also inspires others to join us in creating brighter futures for foster youth.
LAPTOP GIVEAWAY 2024
AT&T, Human-I-T, and the RightWay Foundation partnered up in August to hand out over 150 laptops to RightWay participants and youth brought in by the Concerned Black Men of Los Angeles. This is a huge step towards bridging the digital divide!
